Marketing analytics
You already have the data. Nobody has connected it.
Google Analytics, your CRM, your ad platforms, and the spreadsheet
someone on your team maintains. Switchboard Partners routes all of it
into one place you own, builds the reporting on top, and then stays on to
keep it honest. Four weeks to build, starting at $5,000.
- Build time
- 4 weeks
- Buildout
- From $5,000
- Ongoing
- From $1,500/mo
- Notice period
- 30 days
You are not short of data
You have Google Analytics. You have a CRM with a few years of deals in
it. You have ad accounts spending real money every month. And somewhere
there is a spreadsheet that somebody rebuilds by hand, because it is
the only place those numbers ever meet.
So when someone asks which channel is producing revenue, the honest
answer takes most of a week to assemble, and nobody entirely believes
it when it arrives.
And the question is rarely about marketing on its own. The question is
not how many leads a campaign produced. They want to know what revenue
it produced, and that answer lives half in your marketing systems and
half in your sales pipeline, in two places that were never properly
introduced.
That is not a problem you fix by buying another subscription. Nothing
you already pay for talks to anything else, and nobody has the time or
the seniority to make it.
Enterprise consultancies solve exactly this, for enterprise money. Very
few people solve it well at your size. That gap is the reason this
practice exists.
Three ways to work together
01 / BUILD
Warehouse buildout
Four weeks, fixed fee. Google Analytics, HubSpot, and your
ad accounts piped into a BigQuery warehouse in your own cloud
account. One agreed definition for every number your business argues
about, and one dashboard that answers the questions you named in week
one.
From $5,000
02 / KEEP
Ongoing analysis
Pipelines break, and platforms change how they hand over data without
telling anybody. Monitoring, repairs, definition updates when your
business changes what it counts, and a working session where somebody
senior tells you what the numbers say and what to do about it.
From $1,500 a month
03 / LEAD
Fractional analytics leadership
For companies that cannot justify a full-time analytics hire but
still need somebody accountable for what gets measured and why.
By conversation
One senior analyst, start to finish
Switchboard Partners is a small practice. Everything below follows from
that.
I have spent 15 years in marketing analytics and strategy, and my day job is running analytics across a portfolio of B2B
companies. None of the work described on this site is something I will
be attempting for the first time on your budget. It is what I do every
day, at a scale most companies your size will never need.
What a practice this size gets you is that the person who scopes the
work is the person who does it. No account manager sits between you and
the answer. No junior analyst learns your business at your expense. It
is also why the price can be fixed. There is no bench to keep busy.
You own it when it is over
The warehouse lives in your own Google Cloud project. You pay Google
directly. The transformation code sits in a repository you control,
every definition behind every number is written down, and another
analyst could pick the whole thing up without calling me first.
That is on purpose. Hiring a one-person practice should not mean
depending on one person forever. Ongoing work runs month to month, with
30 days notice and no minimum term. Clients who stay do
it because platforms keep changing, not because they signed something.
Who this is for
A good fit usually looks like this:
-
A marketing leader at a company somewhere between $5M and $50M in
revenue
-
Google Analytics, a CRM, and at least one ad platform already in place
-
At least three questions you cannot currently answer that would change
a decision if you could
- A budget that can absorb $5,000 without a board meeting
When to call somebody else
If nobody has looked at your reporting in a year, an audit costs a
great deal less than a buildout, and I would rather tell you that on
the first call than after the invoice.
If you need this finished in two weeks, I am not your best option. Only
a small number of engagements run at a time, which is the thing that
keeps the work senior.
Start with the questions, not the systems
The first conversation is not a demo, and there is no budget dropdown.
Tell me the three things you cannot answer right now. I will tell you
whether four weeks and $5,000 fixes
it, and if it does not, I will tell you that too.
